Philosophy Department

The department of philosophy Of Swami Dhananjoy Das kathiababa Mahavidyalaya Started its journey In 2012 With only one faculty member.In the year 2018,Fortunately,the department welcomed the principal of this college as part of its faculty. At present the department continues to serve the college with one SACT teacher and the generous support extended by Principal Madam. The department organized a state level seminar on 5th january 2023 in collaboration with the IQAC.Form the begining only general course were taught.Recently a new curriculum and credit based framework (as per NEP 2020) has been introduced since 2023-2024.Students of this department are not only taught according to the syllabus but encouraged to excel in extracurricular activities as well
