Facilities for Differently abled

Facilities for Differently abled  at Swami Dhananjoy Das Kathiababa MV

Swami Dhananjoy Das Kathiababa Mahavidyalaya is committed to promoting inclusivity and equity by effectively implementing the government’s Reservation Policy. The Equal Opportunity Cell plays a vital role in fostering a supportive learning environment for students from reserved categories and minority backgrounds, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities needed for academic and professional growth.

The Cell provides guidance and support to students through orientation programs that introduce them to available facilities, scholarships, and financial aid schemes from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. By facilitating access to these resources, the Cell empowers students to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

In addition, the Cell regularly organizes Talks and Seminars on contemporary issues, keeping students informed and engaged with current developments. Through these initiatives, the Equal Opportunity Cell strives to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel academically and professionally while fostering an inclusive and supportive college environment.

The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and ensuring equal access to all campus facilities. It comprises three key wings:

  • Cell for Differently abled  – Strives to create a barrier-free, accessible learning environment for students with disabilities.

Ensuring a learning environment that is free from barriers and promotes equal opportunities.

Ramps have been constructed at key sites to enable barrier free access.
